Sad News. George Marino, who did the mastering of the first 5 songs of our upcoming EP, died yesterday. Mr Marino mastered an untold number of albums including AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet, Metallica’s 1991 eponymous release, Coldplay’s A Rush of Blood to the Head, Whitney Houston’s Whitney and Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs.

R.I.P. to George Marino, legendary mastering engineer.

A bunch of people are asking where we recorded the drums. Well, for the tech geeks out there (2/3 of the band are tech geeks, by the way), this is the drum kit we used for our EP which was recorded at El Ohino (www.elohinoproductions.com)

Thanks so much for visiting us. Here we will be posting everything related to the band like photos, videos, upcoming shows, etc, etc and some stuff not so related to Shy Around Strangers but we find interesting, funny or at least worth posting.
